26th February: £10 Bag radio / Pure Jungle Plymouth

There’s a few things going down this saturday.

If you’re at home, you should lock in to £10 Bag on Sound Art Radio by clicking this link: tune in. 8pm til 10pm.
You can expect plenty of classic dubstep – DMZ, Deep Medi and whatnot, combined with a selection of some prime unreleased gems from amazing producers like Cessman, Potentz and Valor. Nothing but quality music!

And if you’re in Plymouth or are up for a little road trip to catch some quality jungle music on a badman soundsystem, go to Pure Jungle at Maggie’s. Nothing but ‘93 to ‘95 jungle music – a very rare and special thing these days! Full info and lineup on their Facebook event.

Falmouth 12th March: Mungo’s Hi-Fi

Strictly Steppas have booked the mighty Mungo’s Hi-Fi for Friday 12th March at the good old Falmouth Rugby Club.
Mungo’s are best known for their absolutely immense soundsystem but they also run two record labels featuring some of the best forward-thinking future dub music available, namely Scotch Bonnet and Scrub-a-Dub.
Performing alongside Mungo’s Hi-Fi on the night will be the excellent Soom T of Disrupt’s Jahtari imprint.
She’s vocalled more hot riddims than you’ve had hot dinners.

Support from Bridgwater Reggae Soundsystem and Phase One. 16k rig linkup from B.R.S.S and Falmouth’s Freq Audio.
It’s kind of a shame that Mungo’s aren’t bringing their soundsystem, but what can you do?
