What is Hyperblazing?

We blaze.

Our primary objective is to promote the best nights in Cornwall and our favourite producers and DJs from across the world.

Our secondary objective is to provide you with a great selection of our own mixtapes and interesting website content.

History:

Hyperblazing was set up in 2007 by £10 Bag with the intention of promoting the emerging dubstep scene in Cornwall and to provide an online platform with which to promote his music. When Hyperblazing was founded, the only dubstep event in our county was Subheavy. We linked up with them in early 2008 and began helping them promote their nights in Falmouth. Now in 2009 there’s no shortage of places where you can hear dubstep in Cornwall, but we strongly believe the only regular local night presenting dubstep in the truest fashion, the way it should be heard, experienced and felt, is still Subheavy and probably will be for some time.

After we set up Hyperblazing as an effective online promotion platform for the best local raves, we started filling up the site with our crew’s mixtapes for download. Most of our website traffic is now for the .mp3s we provide. We’ve been steadily adding new content to the site in an effort to keep it fresh; £10 Bag has built a few soundboards and recently conducted interviews with some of the more interesting people from the music business. Finances aren’t up to it at the moment, but a record label is in the works…
